Job Description

Provide desk support to end users. Hardware/Software installations. Communication to the IT Management on major incident progress. Problem-fixing all incidents, requests and other calls. Provide guidance on the quality of replacement spares and parts. Application and Network links monitoring, reporting and follow-up for resolution. Perform hardware and software installation and maintenance. Deploy any necessary catalogs as may be required. Have experience in computer hardware maintenance (PCs/Monitors/Printers/Projectors). Flexible to travel locally to client’s locations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  2. Familiarity with desktop applications and help desk software
  3. Ability to follow technical manuals from system and application vendors and use information from them to support the system’s users
  4. Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  5. Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  6. Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised
  7. Creative and technical problem-solving skills to resolve issues or devise a new approach
  8. Excellent problem-solving communication skills
