Job Description

For this role you will be expected to Act as the Focal Point for the Emergency Preparedness and Response Package (EPRP) for the Bureau. Key tasks include following up with Country Offices to update the Checklists (MPAs, ERAs) Contingency Plans, and the Risk Register. Work with the EPR team at the regional Bureau to support the capacity strengthening of Country Offices to effectively implement Emergency Preparedness and Response activities, as well as the EPRP tool, by regularly disseminating relevant information.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education + Experience

  1. Currently enrolled in the university and have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies; currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master's degree) from a recognized university; or have graduated from a university undergraduate or graduate programme within the last 6 months preferably in Social Sciences, Disaster Management, Agriculture, Range Management, Development Studies, Environmental Science, or other related field
