Ol Kalou Dairy (2016) LTD is a leading milk collection dairy in Nyandarua County. The company was incorporated in 2001 with representation from 13 locations around Olkalou.Their mission is to market dairy products and offer other value-added services to farmers and other stakeholders within Nyandarua County and beyond.We are looking to hire an Extension Officer to join their team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive and effective dairy farmers training and support services
2. Building strong and loyal raw supply base from company shareholders and other dairy farmers in the catchment area
3. Overseeing the milk collection services –using company centre’s and private transporters
4. Working closely with the quality department to ensure high quality raw milk collection
5. Ensuring adequate and timely access to quality and competitive inputs for the farmers
6. Coordinating relationships with stakeholders identified as strategic to vision of the company for improved service to the dairy farmers working with the company
7. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by management

Education + Experience

1. Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Animal Science / production, Animal Health / agricultural education and extension / Agribusiness, Farm Management
2. 2 Years Experience
3. Must be 30 years and above
4. Demonstrated success in Animal Production and Nutrition Services
