KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) collaborates with MOH and other partners in a project called the Clinical Information Network (CIN), which promotes better collection and use of paediatric inpatient information for quality improvement, surveillance, and research.
We are looking for a study coordinator to support a new study that involves development and testing of a digital tool for recognizing sick children in two hospitals currently part of CIN. The main responsibilities of the study coordinator will be to ensure smooth running of the study at the two hospitals and ensure that data collected is complete and of good quality. The study coordinator will be expected to master the study protocol and train study teams on consenting participants, conducting clinical examinations and obtaining patient history, and entering data into an electronic tablet, and coordinating participant follow-ups. The study coordinator will work closely with other Research Nurses, Timekeepers, Project Coordinators and the hospital-based teams.
