Job Description

Reporting to the Country Finance Manager, the Project (Finance) Administrator will be responsible for coordination of Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivables (AR), AP and AR process, ensuring timely cash requests and ensuring proper capture of all financial transactions in the financial system and in the banking systems in line with SNV and donor regulations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Five (5) years of experience as an accountant
  2. Have passed FINAL Part of professional Exams such as, CPA, ACCA or its Have demonstrated administrative and professional competence in work performance
  3. Demonstrated attention to detail in handling general ledger accounting, Banks, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  4. Excellent understanding of SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite complemented by the ability to train others on a need basis
  5. Demonstrated experience in multiple online banking systems
  6. Advanced Excel skills

Education + Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  2. Master’s degree in any of the following: Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
