Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- (i) served for a minimum period of eight (8) years and be currently serving in the grade of Senior Animal Health Officer CSG 9 and above or in a comparable and relevant position in the wider public service; (ii) a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: - Animal Health Management, Animal Production, Animal Production and Health Management, Environmental Sciences, Livestock Economics or Health Extension from a recognized institution; (iii) be registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board; and (iv) demonstrated a high degree of professional competence, administrative capabilities in initiating and implementing animal health services
